Arrested students were using drugs for 6 months

The Anti Narcotics Cell nabbed nine students, aged between 19 and 24, for consumption of cocaine yesterday.


The Anti Narcotics Cell nabbed nine students, aged between 19 and 24, for consumption of cocaine yesterday.

All the students, studying in reputed south Mumbai colleges, were taken to the GT Hospital for a check-up, where reports revealed thatu00a0 the boys have been consuming drugs for six months.

While two have been arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act for possession and sale of drugs, seven others have been detained for consumption.

The two arrested, Mohit and Fazaan, were in possession of two grams of cocaine each. They will be produced at the Esplanade court today.
