Bomb hoax at 4 suburban rly stations

The security atu00a0Borivli, Dahisar, Bandra and Ghatkopar railway station was beefed up today morning after officials received a bomb threat call.

The bomb detection and disposal squad immediately reached the stations for investigation.

"After the terror attacks, we have been getting such call as often as twice or thrice in a week. We take each of the call very seriously. However, each time, the calls have turned out to be a hoax," said A K Sharma, Mumbai Government Railway police commissioner.

"In most of the cases, the calls are made from public booths, which leaves the caller untraceable."
