Days after expressing their displeasure against the cops for their lackadaisical investigation in the murder of police top informer Irfan Chindi, his 'colleagues' and family allege that their lives are in danger. According to police informers, they have been receiving threatening calls from the D company asking them to stop passing on information to the cops and talking about the murder.u00a0 Danish Patel, a close associate of Chindi, said, "I had gone for a hearing at the High Court on Thursday where I met the brother of Guddu Pathan, who we suspect is involved in Chindi's murder. One of them said: TV par aane ka bahut shauk hain. He warned me saying that if I mentioned the name of any of Dawood's henchmen they would kill me."u00a0u00a0u00a0

With the D company keeping a close watch of them, the informers are shaken a bit. Another khabri added, "If they can kill Chindi, we are small fry. We live in areas like Nagpada and Dongri, which are the D company strongholds."u00a0 The informers feel that complaining to the cops is pointless as they too are under the control of the D company.u00a0u00a0
