The trio, armed with revolvers, barged into the high security zone and overpowered the security guard S Bhosle after threatening to shoot him.
When he attempted to stop them from trespassing into the cargo area, the dacoits whipped out a sharp object and injured him in the leg. He was rushed to a nearby hospital.
"As per preliminary information available, they succeeded in looting a consignment but its content or value are not yet known," the official said.
All three criminals managed to escape.
