A new case has been registered against owners of 1 Above pub, arrested in the Kamala Mills fire case, based on a complaint by an inspector with Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Tushar Gujrathi, the police said on Friday. According to the police, the 1 Above owners didn't abide by EPFO rule of depositing the PF deducted from their employees' salaries with the organisation.

A source said, "The police have filed a fresh FIR under sections 406 and 409 (criminal breach of trust), and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code, read with section 14 under the Provident Fund Act, against partners of Sigrid Ospitalia (Kripesh Sanghvi, Jigar Sanghvi and Abhijeet Mankar)." Sources revealed that the three have booked for misappropriation of employees' contribution to the tune of '10 lakh towards EPF.
