TIGHT VIGIL: Cops at Taj Hotel

Until late Friday evening, senior police officials were conducting last moment checks on security arrangements in and around Taj Mahal hotel, where Clinton is staying, and St Xavier's college, where she meets actor Amir Khan followed by an interview to a TV news channel.


Hansiba Creations, a handicrafts store on Napean Sea road, was combed thoroughly by policemen and officials from the US consulate yesterday afternoon.

Clinton's visit to Mumbai, which began with her arrival in Mumbai yesterday evening, concludes on July 21, when she flies from New Delhi to Thailand.
