Two persons were injured in a clash between two rival groups in Borivili village at Padgha here, police said today.


Two persons were injured in a clash between two rival groups in Borivili village at Padgha here, police said today.

Police said the groups belonged to the Congress and NCP and previous enemity among them led to the clash last night, a day ahead of the ZP and Panchayat Samiti polls.

Padgha police have lodged cross complaints against both the groups and further investigations are in progress.

Following the incident, the police bandobust has been stepped up in Borivili village. No arrests have been made so far.
