Omraje Nimbalkar, son of slain Congress leader Pawanraje Nimbalkar has joined Shiv Sena.
Omraje visited Matoshree, Thackeray family residence in suburban Bandra late Sunday night and was welcomed in the party by Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray.
Some director of the co-operative sugar factory, controlled by Omraje in Osmanabad district, also joined the Sena, party spokesperson Neelam Gorhe said.
Omraje is likely to be fielded by Sena for October 13 Maharashtra Assembly elections, party sources said.
