There was a huge commotion at Dindoshi police station where a non-congizable offence has been registered against Thackeray.

However, Pravin Darker, general secretary, MNS, said, "It is a conspiracy by the opposition party. She was not at the scene and was certainly not distributing sarees."

Former aide Sanjay Ghadi had expressed interest to contest from the area, but later complained of partiality within the MNS and quit the party.
Ghadi, who was general secretary in the MNS, has now joined the Shiv Sena.u00a0
