Police officials said the incident occurred on December 22 around 8 pm at Vitthal Dhobi chawl in Borivli (West) after Kadu got highly irritated seeing his father scratch his private parts continuously.u00a0
They said Kadu confronted his father and soon the two had a heated argument. This angered Kadu so much that he picked up the baton used for washing clothes and clubbed Prabhakar with it, inflicting grievous injuries to his body. Prabhakar was rushed to Bhagwati hospital.u00a0
