Two arrested with 1 cr-worth heroin in Lucknow

Two drug peddlers were arrested on Saturday from Jaunpur district's Mangra Badshahpur area in Uttarakhand with heroin worth over Rs1 crore following a joint operation by the special operation group and the police, officials said. " They have been involved in the illegal trade for over last five years," Police Inspector Banwari Mishra told reporters. Preliminary investigations revealed that the two used to supply illegal drugs in several states, including Bihar, Uttarakhand, and New Delhi.
