A car suddenly caught fire on the busy Western Express highway near Santacruz during peak office hours on Thursday morning.

According to passerby, no one was injured as the occupants of the vehicle got out and ran for safety before the car went up in flames.
The cause of the fire is still not known. A motorist managed to take a video footage of the burning vehicle.
