Jumma, Chumma De De: The joy of same-sex couples knew no bounds as they celebrated at the Liquid Lounge, Chowpatty last night. |
We were told that the party was set to go on the floor by 9 pm, and for once, no one was fashionably late.
The crowds, dressed in their best attire, thronged the venue with their squeeze in tow. By the time we hit the floor, the party was in full swing and it wasn't even 10!
The DJ was belting the Dancing Queen, and it surely seemed like the Summer of 69 had made a grand comeback.
In another section, couples were celebrating their freedom to Jai Ho and Maa da Laadla. And getting from one section to the other was quite a 'touchy' experience.
As the night progressed, so did the couples on the floor. Shirts went for a toss, and clean-shaven chests made a grand entry to the chill of the air-conditioning.
The intensity and intimacy on the floor was enough to give Dirty Dancing a new level altogether.
At the time the clock struck midnight, the music was blaring, the drinks were flowing, and the crowd was lovin' it.
Surrounded by gyrating hips and lip-locked couples, the Maa da Laadlas had the time of their lives.
