Bizman buys Scotch at Mumbai airport duty free and wins a Merc at India's first airport raffle
NRI Haresh Dayalani enjoys his drink and he will now drive a super luxe Rs 28 lakh Mercedes Benz C Class.
All he did was buy two bottles of Scotch at the Mumbai airport duty free, while flying in from Paris in late March, making him eligible for India's first airport raffle.

"Little did I know that my love for a drink would prove this lucky," said the 34-year-old businessman from Saint Martin, a tropical island in the Caribbean.
Lady luck shinesThe owner of two retail garment boutiques in the Caribbean, Dayalani has always wanted to own a Mercedes. "It was sheer luck that I filled up the raffles form.

I had time as my luggage hadn't arrived. I never dreamt a Rs 2,800 Johnnie Walker would win me a luxury car," he said.

In fact, quipped Dayalani, his family never considered him lucky. "I never win a quiz or housie. The only prize I have ever won is a sandwich at Subway," he chuckled.

But Dayalani will not take the Mercedes home. "I plan to keep it here and use it when I'm in India," he said and added that he frequents the city on business and has a house in Pune.
The luxurious and stylish Mercedes Benz C200 Kompressor has been up for grabs since February this year.
