Mumbai will move from lightness to dark tomorrow. India will observe 'Earth Hour' by turning off all lights and electrical appliances from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm. Here are some suggestions on how to bring the light back into your lives during that dark hour...
Weight and watch: Lose at least 100 gm in weight since Saturday morning and say as you skip/jog or walk: "Dark hour mein light hona chahta hoon."

But Pappu can dance saala: Take a local train and go to Andheri. Andhere mein, Andheri chalo dancing atop the train on Chal Chaiyya, Chaiyya, Chaiyya, Chaiyya.
Chandni o meri Chandni: Light nahi toh moonlight chalega. Find women called Chandni and men called Chand Ram or Chandiramani or Chanderkar, anything with a chaand in it and scream shine on!
Bonfire of the inanities: Light a bonfire of nonsensical writing like this and bask in the warm glow of those greedy orange and yellow flames.
Kabhi khushi kabhi 'gum': Brush your teeth till they fall off well nearly. Spread the light by flashing your brightest smile throughout the 60 minutes. Ouch!
Pyaaz kiya to darna kya: Since it is batti bandh hour, go green by hanging some onion bulbs around the house instead of light bulbs.
Pink makes Mutalik blink: Join the pink chaddi campaign; wear a neon pink chaddi and flash it. Those briefs, good grief, should be absolutely dazzling in these dark hours.
Earth Hour
Earth Hour began in Sydney in 2007, when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for an hour to join the fight against climate change.
In the same year, three million Mumbaikars participated in the campaign and managed to save 178.5 megawatts of electricity.
Last year, 50 million people across the globe took part in the initiative.
