A fire broke out at Shri Foam Agency in Thane West on Tuesday evening, with fire tenders rushing to the spot and no injuries reported so far, officials said.
The incident was reported at around 7:47 pm on 21 April 2026 to the Thane Municipal Corporation's Disaster Management Cell. The blaze erupted at Ray Master Compound near St. Xavier's High School in Manpada on Ghodbunder Road.
According to officials, information was received from the Balkum Fire Station through Rahul Shinde. Following the alert, senior disaster management and fire officials were deployed at the site.
Disaster Management Officer Tadvi and Chief Fire Officer Zhalke, along with fire personnel, are currently present at the location. The fire brigade has pressed into service two fire engines, one jumbo water tanker and one additional water tanker to control the blaze.
A utility vehicle from the Disaster Management Cell has also been deployed at the site.
Officials confirmed that no injuries have been reported in the incident as firefighting operations continue. Efforts are underway to bring the fire fully under control.
A fire broke out during the early hours of Monday, April 20, at a garment outlet in Naupada, prompting a swift response from emergency services. As per the official statement from the Disaster Management Cell of Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC), the incident was reported at around 5:40 am.
The fire occurred at âPrachi Fashion Store', situated on the ground floor of Paradise Tower Society on Gokhale Road in Thane West, near a McDonald's outlet and adjacent to the Gavdevi Temple.
As soon as the blaze was reported, fire brigade teams rushed to the spot with two fire tenders and a rescue vehicle. Furthermore, personnel from the Disaster Management Cell, local police, and Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (Mahavitaran) were also deployed to assist in the operation. Along with the authorities, local corporator Sanjay Waghule was also present at the site.
Authorities said that intensive firefighting efforts were underway to bring the situation under control.
As of now, no injuries or casualties have been reported.
