On Thursday, the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) Undertaking, stated that a few public transport bus routes have been diverted in Mumbai due to ongoing Mumbai Metro construction work in Kurla.
The BEST authority stated that due to Metro work started at Kurla signal, BEST buses on routes 03, 92, 351, 357, and 473 are diverted via Annabhau Sathe Bridge (V. N. Purav Marg) from 09.00hrs on Thursday, November 16.

Meanwhile, on November 10, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) stated that a part of the Eastern Freeway would be temporarily closed for traffic. The closure has been undertaken for the construction of a metro station that will fall on the Wadala-Kasarvadavli metro line.
As per the MMRDA's media statement, the closure will begin from near Kurla Signal towards Sion. The affected stretch, they stated, is from Kurla Signal (Anna Bhau Sathe Chowk) to Suman Nagar junction.
MMRDA further stated that a temporary stop has been provided 400 meters after the Postal Kalani stop for passengers' convenience. This temporary stop is near Metro Pillar No.P131G.
"Importantly, there is no change when traveling in the opposite direction, and the road remains unaffected. This traffic advisory aims to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and passenger convenience during the construction work on Siddharth Nagar station of the Wadala-Kasarvadvali Thane Metro East Freeway," stated the media statement last week.
Meanwhile, BEST authority further updated that the bus route, which was diverted on Wednesday due to the crane shutdown at Shivneri Chowk, Ghatkopar, bus route no. 381, 481, 27, 399, 430, 488, 493, was restored in both directions by taking a U-turn at Naidu Circle, then taking a right turn at Shivneri Chowk via Ankush Gawde Road, and then taking a right turn at Shivneri Chowk.
