The collection of 30 photographs by the Dutch photographer and artist captures people from major cities across The Netherlands, Germany, China, Ukraine, Senegal, and the USA, alongside their faithful automobiles.

"Roemers' project was a study of the megacities of the world, and eventually led to his book, Metropolis. During the photography, he realised that their vehicles often tell you a lot about themselves and their society," shared Radhi Parekh, curator, Artisans' Centre.

At Nehru Science Centre's (NSC) flameless hot air balloon workshop and competition - guided by IIT-Bombay's Professor Rajkumar S Pant - science enthusiasts can expect a short, but soaring, Physics lesson in a workshop-cum-competition held on April 25 and 26. "It is based on the principle of hot air. The interesting part is that there are no flames involved, we will heat the balloon with a hot air gun which is a machine similar to a hair dryer," explained Tapas Moharana, a senior curator at NSC, giving us a glimpse into the science behind it.

Youth Organisation in Defence of Animals' (YODA) collaboration with Padel Park India allows its attendees to book a court and play padel while proceeds from the same go towards animals under their care. While speaking about today's fundraiser, Pooja Shah, marketing head, told this diarist, "We are trying to create a space where people from every walk of life - sports communities, athletes, animal lovers, creators, and donors come together for something bigger than themselves."
