The Passport and Stamp Trail will be available at 10 stations: Cuffe Parade, Churchgate, Hutatma Chowk, CSMT Metro, Worli, Siddhivinayak, Dharavi, Bandra-Kurla Complex, CSMIA-T2 and Marol Naka.

Aqua Line time capsule to be opened in 2036

The time capsule will remain sealed for 10 years and is scheduled to be opened on October 8, 2036, marking a decade of full-route operations.

According to MMRC, the capsule contains photographs, records, milestones and memorabilia documenting the development and operation of Mumbai's first underground metro. The initiative aims to preserve the Aqua Line's journey and offer future generations a glimpse into its early years.

MMRC described the initiative as a first-of-its-kind in India's metro sector.

The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) introduced the Aqua Line Passport and Stamp Trail as part of its anniversary celebrations on October 9, encouraging commuters and travel enthusiasts to explore the metro corridor and collect specially designed commemorative stamps.

MMRC also felicitated its most-travelled commuters during the anniversary celebrations, recognising their continued use of the Aqua Line.

The celebrations marked one year of full-route operations on Mumbai's underground metro corridor, which connects key locations across the city.
