The inspection was aimed at reviewing the city's preparedness and assessing the effectiveness of the civic body's monsoon management measures amid heavy rainfall.
Lavangare visited several locations, including Malabar Hill, Ambewadi in Kalachowki, Mahim, the Maheshwari Udyan (King's Circle) area, Ravindra Natya Mandir, Hindmata, and other vulnerable locations.
