The ceiling plaster of a classroom at a private school in Oshiwara allegedly collapsed while citizens were gathered there for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) verification process on Wednesday. No injuries were reported in the incident.

"I heard the noise from inside the room and rushed in. Thankfully, the tables were in one corner of the room. Thus, no one was hurt," said Kauntey Jadhav, who was present at the school during the incident.

"The whole school building seemed nicely maintained, and so this incident came as a surprise," he added.

The Lokhandwala Oshiwara Citizens Association will raise the issue with the Education Officer.

Further details are awaited.
