Mumbai is expected to experience partly cloudy skies on Wednesday, September 9, with the possibility of occasional light rain in the city and suburbs, according to the latest Mumbai weather update.
The forecast, issued at 8 am, indicates that rainfall is likely to remain light, with no indication of widespread heavy showers.
The city will experience two high tides on Wednesday. The first high tide is expected at 10:46 am, reaching 4.37 metres, while the second is forecast at 10:55 pm, reaching 4.03 metres.
A low tide is expected at 4:49 pm, measuring 1.22 metres. The next low tide will occur at 4:54 am on September 10, reaching 0.64 metres.
Mumbai recorded light rainfall in the 24-hour period from 8 am on September 8 to 8 am on September 9.
The city recocrded an average of 1.48 mm of rainfall, while the eastern suburbs received 0.42 mm and the western suburbs recorded 0.31 mm during the period.
Meanwhile, Delhi-NCR is likely to experience relatively pleasant weather on Wednesday, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting a cloudy sky throughout the day. The minimum temperature is expected to remain around 26 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature may touch 35 degrees Celsius.
According to the weather department, winds in Delhi are likely to blow at around 3.89 kmph, with gusts reaching speeds of up to 8.61 kmph. The national Capital witnessed sunrise at 6:02 a.m. on Wednesday, while sunset is expected at 6:33 p.m.
The IMD forecast suggests that weather conditions in Delhi are likely to remain broadly stable during the coming week. Daytime temperatures are expected to remain between 32 and 35 degrees Celsius from September 9 to September 15.
On Thursday, September 10, the maximum temperature is forecast to remain around 35 degrees Celsius. It is expected to fall slightly to 32 degrees Celsius on Friday. Temperatures could remain close to 33 degrees Celsius over the weekend before dropping further to around 31 degrees Celsius next week.
The IMD has not issued any weather warning for Delhi for the week, indicating that the national Capital is likely to experience generally stable conditions. The weather pattern is consistent with September conditions in Delhi, when temperatures gradually begin to moderate, although humidity can continue to remain high.
