Mumbai weather update: Light rain expected across city and suburbs over next 48 hours

Mumbaikars on Saturday woke up to spells of rain in some parts of the city. In isolated parts, there were periods of heavy rain, according to the forecast from the Regional Meteorological Centre, Mumbai.

For the next 48 hours, authorities predict cloudy skies with intermittent light spells of rain in the city and suburbs. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 32 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature will drop to 27 degrees Celsius.

In their weekly forecast, from September 5 to 9, RMC Mumbai has issued green alerts for the city, predicting light spells of rain on the 5th, 8th, and 9th, and light to moderate spells on the 6th and 7th. No Orange or Red alerts have been issued for Mumbai in the coming five days.
