Advani's lawyer Manohar Shetty told mid-day, "Justice R D Dhanuka ordered that certified copies of the probate proceedings be granted to Anita Advani." The yesteryears superstar died on July 18, 2012, leaving behind a will in which he had appointed his daughters Twinkle and Rinkie as legal heirs, and the former as his will's executrix.

Advani had then moved court on the ground that the will was forged and had asked for copies of the probate proceedings, which certify that the will is genuine. "The will by which Khanna's daughters are claiming to be the bungalow's owners is forged; and we have challenged it in court," Shetty, her lawyer, said.
Meanwhile, Advani has also challenged the sale of Khanna's Carter Road bungalow, Vardan Aashirwad. "We have filed a reply objecting to the notice published by Maneksha & Sethna law firm, stating that if they continue with the transaction they will be committing an offence," Shetty said.
He added that they have been fighting a court case demanding a stake in Khanna's estate, which includes the bungalow as well. It may be noted that businessman Shashi Kiran Shetty, executive chairman of Allcargo Logistics, is the prospective buyer of Rajesh Khanna's 603-sq ft bungalow.
A source known to Shetty claimed that the businessman intends to live in the bungalow, as he has been scouting for one for a long time. Our attempts to elicit a response from Twinkle Khanna and her lawyer proved futile.
