Sanjay's behaviour would have put any father to shame: Nirupam

The Congress-Samajwadi Party tug of war has gone into different level from a mere Dutt-Nirupam saga.

Sanjay Nirupam rebuked Sanjay Dutt's claim that his father Sunil Dutt died with shock after Congress inducted Nirupam even though he humiliated Dutt senior.

Nirupam said at a press conference, "Sunil Dutt and I had few misunderstandings, which were cleared after I joined. Sunil Dutt wasn't a weak hearted person that he died because I came to the party. Sanjay Dutt, a convicted accused, has done many things in life that can put any father in shame."

Nirupam is contesting on Congress ticket as a candidate of Mumbai North against Ram Naik. But at the same time the SC denied Sanjay Dutt a candidature ticket from Lucknow.

Sunil Dutt at the time of Nirupam's entry into Congress has said that the party should have considered the things Nirupam said about Congress leaders before asking him to join our party.
