Actor cries, faints due to slipped disc problem On Support: Shiney Ahuja is assisted outside the Sewri fast track court yesterday.
Shiney Ahuja, who has been languishing in jail since June 18 for allegedly raping his maid, was wincing in pain and burst into tears at the Sewri fast track court yesterday.
Shiney made a sorry figure as he lay on the bench and cried hysterically because of a slipped disc problem.
Limping along
The judge then ordered two constables to take the frail actor to an adjacent room. But a limping Shiney fainted on the way out.
The court ordered jail authorities to provide medical help to him. Shiney's parents and wife were tense and were allowed to meet Shiney only after he was taken to another room.
Shiney's bail plea application has been adjourned till October 7.
