Heavy downpour led to waterlogging in several areas of Mumbai and suburbs

During the last 24 hours, Santacruz observatory of Mumbai recorded 286.4 mm rain and Colaba recorded 148 mm of rain until 8:30 am on Wednesday

The monthly average rainfall in Mumbai for the month of September is 341.4 mm. This month, Mumbai has recorded more than 400 mm of rain till September 23, thus surpassing the month's average downpour.
