The event was held at the NSCI Dome in Worli, where Aaditya Thackeray spoke to a gathering of workers and supporters ahead of the upcoming civic elections.
Aaditya Thackeray accused the BJP and allied leaders of allowing corruption to flourish in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC)
He said that the civic body’s treasury is now empty and debts have soared to around Rs 2.5 lakh crore
Aaditya Thackeray further said that it was essential to stop what he termed “vote-thieves, note-thieves and credit-thieves” from influencing the city’s politics
He said the next 15-20 days marked a critical period in which Shiv Sena (UBT) would focus on campaigning and reminding people of the work the party had done in the past
He urged the supporters to take pride in the work done by his party
