As per BMC, "Over 30 lakh houses have been fumigated by BMC teams between January and May 2026 during the citywide mosquito control initiative"
BMC health teams also inspected residential areas and remove stagnant water sources to prevent breeding of dengue and malaria-causing mosquitoes
