The streets of Matunga turned into streams as the heavy downpour created havoc in Dadar, Matunga and other parts of the city.
Due to the extreme weather conditions, daily life was disrupted on Wednesday across the city.
Vehicles and people struggled alike amid knee-deep water after heavy rains lashed Mumbai.
A man was seen enjoying the waterlogged area as flooded streets in Matunga brought traffic to a standstill.
Along with road traffic disruptions, Mumbai’s railway network was also severely hit for the second consecutive day on Tuesday.
