The administration and election authorities have ensured that the voting process will be smooth, transparent, and peaceful, officials said
BMC's Additional Municipal Commissioner (City), Dr Ashwini Joshi, personally inspected the election material distribution at the Shahaji Raje Bhosale Sports Complex in Andheri (West)
She reviewed the process in detail and ensured that all distribution was conducted on time, in an organised manner, and without errors
The counting of votes is scheduled for Friday, January 16, and will be conducted at 23 designated locations across Mumbai, each under the supervision of an appointed Returning Officer
The BMC on Wednesday stated that all counting centres will have strong rooms, CCTV surveillance and adequate police security to ensure a transparent and secure process. Only authorised representatives, election staff and officials will be allowed at the centres
