As soon as the short circuit occurred, smoke rose near the entrance of Canossa Primary School as authorities began precautionary evacuation at around 11:30 am

The short circuit and fire scare were reportedly due to the road excavation outside the school situated in South Mumbai

Teachers and school staff escorted the students to safety after the sudden electrical issue disrupted normal school hours in Mahim

While the situation around the locality seemed concerning, authorities rushed to the spot
