Mumbai Rains: IMD issues red alert for Mumbai, Raigad; intense rain and storm predicted

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast red alert for Mumbai and Raigad, warning of moderate thunderstorms, intense to very intense rainfall, lightning, and gusty winds reaching up to 50 km/h over the next three to four hours.
