Mumbai on Friday reported 155 new COVID-19 cases and one death, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said. Another fatality was reported from neighbouring Thane district. The city registered a rise in daily cases, as the BMC reported 139 new infections on Thursday.
