Mumbai LIVE: TMC announces 24-hour water cut in Mumbra, Kalwa other key areas

Mumbai News LIVE Updates: The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) on Tuesday announced a 24-hour water cut in several parts of the city due to urgent maintenance and pipeline upgradation works under the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) water supply scheme. According to the official statement from TMC, the water cut will begin at 12 pm on Thursday, April 23, and will continue till 12 pm on Friday, April 24. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has also announced a scheduled disruption in water supply across several parts of south Mumbai to facilitate infrastructure work aimed at improving distribution efficiency.
