Out of those 50, two offenders were taken Bund Garden police station. When this reporter enquired about the names of those drunk drivers, Mule, ASI of Bund Garden police station, refused to divulge their names.

He said, "I don't want you to publish their names as they might get disgraced for life. Besides, drunk driving is not a serious offense." When asked the reason why the traffic department is carrying out a major drive then, she said, "Only those who create ruckus on the streets after getting drunk should be punished. Also, the media should only publish their names and pictures."

Mule even added that the duo was just caught unawares.
