Bhajji was getting his luggage out of his car when Narayan's camera accidentally brushed against the spinner's turban. An angry Bhajji stretched his hand out, shoved the camera out of his way, and walked into the airport lounge in a huff.

The cameraman was asked to stand at a distance both by the state police and the CRPF. "Door se le leejiye," said a polite CRPF policeman escorting Bhajji. Another policeman told the media in Kannada that they should stand at a distance.

"Bhajji neither hit me nor did he use any kind of foul language," Narayan told his friends.u00a0 "Some others here took the footage and spread the news that he had hit me."

Narayan works for a news agency, and was getting video footage of Bhajji at the airport before he left for Colombo.
