This has left movie buffs with no choice but to watch the English films Valentine's Day and Wolfman, both releasing today. "We are deploying 240 armed SRPF police personnel, and will provide necessary security to movie theatres," said Ravindra Sengaonkar, DCP, special branch.

Sadanand Mohol, president, Pune Exhibitors Association and Prakash Chaphalkar, Treasurer, All India Multiplex Association, admitted that they do not plan to screen MNIK for the time being. "We don't want to expose our staff, viewers and property to risk," they said.
