Dissident MLAs of BJP returned to the city at 3 am from Chennai today who had gone to Chennai on Saturday evening from Goa. They arrived with former Chief Minister of state H D Kumaraswamy.

The MLAs are supposed to vote to show their majority in the assembly. The recent reshuffle led this critical position to chief minister BS Yeddyurappa. On 6th of this month, the Governor has asked Yeddyurappa to prove majority when 13 MLAs withdrew their support to the government.

Many BJP leaders approached dissidents and asked them for support but they didn't agree. It encouraged former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and he succeeded in convincing them and took them to Chennai.
After two days in Chennai, Kumaraswamy brought them back to the city in a special flight but they couldn't come out from the main gate as a huge crowd had collected outside the gate.

Kumaraswamy had to use an alternate gate to escape from party workers. The dissidents and Kumaraswamy then moved to Bidadi resort Eagle ton.
