Kiran Kamble (50), an employee of Sassoon hospital, had to be admitted to the same after he was hit by a car on Sus road near Wakad late evening.
Sustaining head injuries on the right side of his forehead, Kamble himself went to the casualty ward with his colleagues and requested the doctors to treat him.
Before getting admitted, Kamble said that he was returning home after attending a colleague's wedding ceremony. He was in a car that was hit by another, injuring his head.
u00a0Kamble's vehicle was also damaged. "We were trying to contact the highway police for conducting an immediate panchanama, but no police official visited the spot. So I had to rush to Sassoon Hospital for treatment," Kamble said.u00a0
Kamble received stitches on his forehead.
