As DNA report confirmed that the child Priyanka's bearing is of Anand, his family allegedly threatened her to opt for an out of court settlement

Priyanka (22), the gusty girl who made headlines after she got her boyfriend Anand (25) arrested for ditching her and going for marriage with another girl, has now become a cause of great apprehension for Anand and his family.

Soon after the DNA report confirmed that the child she's bearing is of Anand, his family allegedly approached Priyanka and requested her to opt for an out of court settlement. They're said to have made several phone calls on her mobile and landline phone seeking compromise.

Anand's revenge?
Priyanka had earlier said she believed her lover Anand had gotten her pregnant out of to avenge the hurt he felt when she first ignored his advances. She said she accepted him as a lover only after he had pursued him for a long time. "I think he had revenge on me by trying to make my life hell. Four years ago, at the initial stage of our knowing each other, he begged for my love, but I rejected him," she said. "But he kept at it, followed me for days, even said he would commit suicide and leave behind a note saying I was the reason for it. Now I am thinking he just had his revenge for having gone through all that."

According to sources, even Nagararaj, father of the girl whom Anand got married, has approached Anand's family to settle the issue soon and by any means. Hence, Anand's cousin allegedly approached Priyanka yesterday with a proposal to withdraw the case for a 'price'. However, Priyanka stood by her stand as she intends to fight till Anand is prosecuted for cheating her.

Talking to MiD DAY, Priyanka's sister Vedha said, "As the report of DNA tests has confirmed that child is of Anand, his family has accepted that their son had made a mistake and they want to compromise now. However, we will fight till the end." Meanwhile, Priyanka's family has alleged that as they didn't give to the demand made by Anand's family, his relatives have started threatening Priyanka.

Although Priyanka is yet to get the test report from the cops, she has said, "Once I get the papers, I'll show to the world what I am fighting for. I don't need money but just justice." Meanwhile Anand, who is languishing in jail, had approached the High Court for bail but was denied one. Also, Priyanka won't be able to abort the child as she is in her sixth month of pregnancy.
