Bangalore to have signal-free junctions

Bangalore will soon have three signal-free junctions called 'Yield Junctions'. The three Yield Junctions will be at Chalukya Hotel Junction, Race Course Road Junction and Basaveera Circle Junction.

In order to provide a signal-free road to the Bangalore International Airport, the Brahut Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) is planning to provide more such

Yield Junctions.

These junctions will cost around Rs 2 lakhs each. Experts say they are much more economical than building an underpass.
