On sale are lacquered wooden animal puppets (Rs 150 each) that appear to spring to life with just a gentle tug of the string or a shake from side-to-side.
There's also Kreeda's The Battle of Lanka (Rs 160), a card game that ups your trivia on the Ramayana while building the strongest army and Chathyrvimshathi Koshtaka (Rs 100) in which you need to win all your opponent's coins. With objectives like "kill all your opponent's coins" and "build the strongest army", it's all about learning strategy.
Choose from a range of game traditions, including those from Zimbabwe and Kenya. There's Morabaraba (Rs 550), a game from Africa in which the objective is to create vertical, diagonal or horizontal rows of "cows" before your opponent does. Shisima (Rs 550) that uses "water bugs" in place of "cows", works on the same lines.
Don't worry too much about the names of the games proving to be more than a mouthful; store owner Aradhana Nagpal or her dad Rummy will happily help out.
