An 11-year-old class VII student who came to the national capital for studying only this month was sodomised

and robbed of his pocket money allegedly by his two classmates on Tuesday.
The shocking incident occurred at a government school in Ambedkar Nagar area in southeast Delhi.
Kunal (name changed), a student of standard VII at Government Senior Secondary School (no.2), was taken to the second floor of the school building by his two classmates after the school got over.
There they allegedly beat him and robbed him of Rs 20. They later sodomised him and threatened him of dire consequences if he were to reveal anything.
Kunal, however, went to the school principal to complain about the assault.
"They made him write a letter against the two accused and expelled them immediately," said Santosh, Kunal's grandmother with whom he lives in Sangam Vihar.
"Kunal did not even have the money to come back home. The money, I had given him for transport, was taken away by the two boys who assaulted him. He had to walk about 5 km to reach home. He narrated the incident to me after which we informed the police," said Mrs Santosh.
The police took Kunal to AIIMS for a medical examination that confirmed sexual assault after which an FIR was registered.
"Kunal told me that he would not go to school again. He is in shock. The school authorities told us that they have expelled the two accused and did not reveal their identities," she added.u00a0
Kunal is a native of Jalandhar, Punjab.u00a0 His father is a motor mechanic in Faridabad.
Kunal's family is also demanding action against the school authorities, who did not care to inform them about the incident.
The police refused to divulge details of the case and said they are investigating the matter.
