Congress officials have demanded a probe of the advertisements projecting Muslims being better off in Gujarat and Chief Minister Narendra Modi holding hands with his Bihar counterpart Nitish Kumar published in Bihar dailies.
"The purpose behind issuing these advertisements is to woo Muslim voters in Bihar before the Assembly polls there," said P Sudhakar Reddy, Secretary of All India Congress Committee (AICC) and in-charge of Gujarat.

He also added that it exposed the hypocrisy of Modi and the BJP party. Reddy asked Kumar to take political action against Modi and snap ties with the BJP to prove that he cares for Muslims in the state.u00a0
