Alice is a bit grown up now and she is all of nineteen. But she does chase a rabbit wearing a blue coat and falls into a rabbit hole. Inception
When director Christopher Nolan makes a film, get ready to go on ride that could be an equivalent of entering a topsy turvy world. A world where dreams become reality and reality takes on the avatar of illusions. Dom Cobb (Leonardo Di Caprio) has mastered the art of entering dreams and stealing ideas and hence influencing their reality. He also forms a formidable team that has the knack of entering and influencing dreams to their advantage.u00a0
Invictus
This one is a classic based on the John Carlin book Playing the Enemy: Nelson Mandela and the Game That Changed a Nation. Directed by Clint Eastwood himself, the story is about the 1995 Rugby World Cup and the events preceding it. Nelson Mandela is elected President and takes it upon himself to bring to an end the never ending Apartheid in South Africa.u00a0
Frida
It would be perhaps fit to say that no one other than Salma Hayek could have portrayed the life of fellow Mexican artist Frida Kahlo in the award winning film Frida. The film traces the Kahlo's early years, her evolving as a painter and her relationship with artist Diego Rivera (played out fabulously by Alfred Molina). Every shot in this feature film directed by Julie Taymor is like a beautiful painting with doors and windows framing outside scenarios just like framed art.
Dabangg
Watch Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan) play a desi Robin Hood in this entertaining flick. Produced by Arbaaz Khan and with a sizzling performance in the track Munni Badnam Hui by Malaika Arora Khan, it's all in the family. Also, Sonakshi Sinha makes her debut appearance as the small-town girl and love interest of Chulbul Pandel. The narrative is simple and the stunts make it a fun watch to spend the New Year with.u00a0All of the above available at seventymm.com, Landmark, Reliance TimeOut
