For flavours with medicinal value Bina Doshi, a resident of Napean Sea Road, has been churning out homemade ice creams for the last four years. She prepares fresh-fruit, hand-churned veg ice creams, minus extra cream, essence or colour. Doshi says, "While mango is a popular choice, I also get a lot of orders for the Black Jamun and Lemon Grass flavours. Given their medicinal properties, both these flavours make for an
especially interesting option for the health conscious," says Bina. Other flavours include the Kit Kat and Oreo Cookie Ice creams. Doshi accepts orders from six in the morning and shuts shop at 10 pm. She offers free home delivery between Napean Sea Road and Chowpatty.
For Rs 400 for one litre tub of mango ice-cream and Rs 350 for one litre tubs of the remaining flavours.
