After a year-long sabbatical, Indian Mujahideen (IM) is back. At least that seems to be the case from a threat mail received by the media after the attack on a tourist bus near Jama Masjid on Sunday. The bigger concern is that the mail threatens sabotage of the Commonwealth Games. The reason cited is the recent killings of protestors in Kashmir.u00a0

The mail also refers to some other incidents involving Muslims as victims like mass arrests at Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh.u00a0u00a0u00a0

The five-page mail was sent to the media at 1:36 pm on Sunday, a couple of hours after the walled city firing incident. However, the mail does not mention this particular incident but threatens some more attacks in India.
Mentioning in detail the killing of more than one hundred protestors in Kashmir, the shadowy group has warned against the hosting of the Commonwealth Games and threatened to carry out attacks for which participants of the event will be responsible.

"...We warn you to host the Commonwealth Games if you have a grain of salt. We know that preparations for the Games are at its peak; Beware!! We too are preparing in full swing for a Great Surprise! The participants will be solely responsible for the outcome, as our bands of Mujahideen love death more than you love life. In Kashmir you have succeeded in usurping our Right of self-determination with all your Chanakya policies."

The mail also mentions the killings in Kashmir on the day of Eid. "The Idol worshippers' Indian army has created mayhem this Eid by ruthlessly killing 22 stone-pelting youth. Muslim life is cheaper than vegetables in Kashmir."

"Since July, the Paradise on earth, 'Kashmir' is being soaked with the blood of its sons. The Indian occupying forces have not spared the life of 8-year-old boys to 80-year-old elderly persons or hapless Muslim women either. The death toll has already surpassed a hundred innocents ufffdThe Indian Mujahideen has finally decided to avenge the blood of each and every brother and sister as its topmost priority and duty towards the Ummah and Allah above all. Remember! As we bleed, so will you seep."

The mail is signed by an unknown figure, Al-Arbi, and has been sent from the mail id al.arbi999123@gmail.com.
The outfit which has been declared a terror group by Central Government and is banned has dedicated its attack to slain terror suspects Atif Amin and Muhammad Sajid who were killed during the Batla House encounter today two years ago - September 19, 2008.

"In the name of Allah we dedicate this attack of retribution to martyrs, Shaheed Atif Amin and Shaheed Muhammad Sajid."
The security agencies have blamed IM for various terror attacks in the country in recent past including the September 2008 Delhi serial blasts.
In the mail, the IM has said those arrested in Pune German Bakery blast case are innocent, warned attacks in Mumbai.

"We feel sorry to say that Rakesh Maria has shattered the myth of being an intelligent officer by arresting innocent youth who are totally unconcerned in the German Bakery case. Remember! We will once again come upon Bombay if you do not desist."

The mail also mentions some other recent incidents in which Muslims were victims, like one in which a Muslim woman in niqab was not allowed to enter a Mumbai hospital.
"The incident of our sister wearing Hijab who was insulted and humiliated at the KEM hospital in Bombay on orders of Bombay Police will not be forgiven."

It also mentions the massive arrest of Muslims in Ratlam and said this is an open invitation to the terror group.
"The state-terrorism in Ratlam during Eid is an open invitation to the Indian Mujahideen".
The IM condemns the Ulema and so-called Islamic scholars for allegedly being silent on the killings of people in Kashmir. "Where are those Ulema and so-called Islamic scholars who waste their energies designing fatwas against us? Why are they lip-locked over the genocide of Kashmiri brothers and sisters?"
