Victim was on his way to the airportA 48-year-old crewmember of Kingfisher Airlines sustained injuries when his cab in which he was heading towards the Delhi airport was hit by a speeding Scorpio in Vasant Kunj (South) area of south Delhi late on Sunday Night.
A police officer said that Tarun Dhimar, who is said to be a pilot, was travelling in a Maruti Esteem when the speeding Scorpio rammed into it from behind.
"The driver of the Scorpio fled from the spot abandoning the vehicle. Dhimar is undergoing treatment at a private hospital. We are yet to take his statement in this case. We are likely to lodge an FIR against the Scorpio driver. Dhimar was travelling in the cab of Akbar Travel Agency," said a senior police officer.
