Man held for raping maid after luring her with raise

The Chatushringi police yesterday booked a city-based businessman for allegedly raping his 15-year-old maid by tempting her with a pay hike.u00a0A few days ago, the bizman's wife had lodged a complaint with the same police station against the maid after she was allegedly caught red-handed sexually abusing the couple's four-year-old son.

Ajay Kadam, senior PI with Chatushringi police station, said, "During the interrogation, the girl told us that the kid's father used to rape her by promising that he would double her payment and even threatened dire consequences if she revealed it to anyone." In her complaint, the girl has alleged that the kid's father used to come to her room and molest her.

After some days he allegedly raped her. When she narrated the incident to his wife, the couple sent her to Delhi on May 15. The girl also denied all the charges levelled against her by child's mother.u00a0On May 22, the child's mother had lodged a complaint accusing the girl of sexually abusing her son and hurting his private parts with safety pin. u00a0"We are listening to both the parties and examining the claims made by the child's mother and the allegation levelled by the girl," said Kadam. u00a0
